Great conflict so far in that I can see both sides - she has the right to fight for her future and he has the right to look after his family. I can see though why this is not everybody’s cup of tea as the sexism is rampant! It doesn’t bother me though, as I actually prefer it when the hero is not a modern man in disguise when I read historical romance.
