I'm finding difficulty getting into the history of the East. I thought it would be so fascinating! The history of the Eastern hemisphere has education, intrigue, art, war, and civilization; but the writers are making it lackluster. Could be so much better.

Just as I noted with Saladin, Mr. Lane's writing is very dry. Hard to get into the book. Hopefully, it picks up.
