Having great difficulty in getting motivated on this one. Only thing keeping me going is the rave reviews from People I Trust. If not for that, it would be back at the library.

FWIW, I wouldn't have recommended this to you. Not for any squeamishness reasons, it just doesn't strike me as a book you'd be that into.

What Wendy said- I also wouldn't have recommended it for you. Too much fairy tale and not enough history. ;-)
I do read things that aren't historical. Sometimes.
Yeah, I know. There's just nothing about this book that says "Melissa" to me.
Well, at least now I feel like I have permission to abandon it. . .
