Badiou is laughably arrogant but in a way I think we could use more of nowadays: “As for the ‘difficulty’ my major texts are associated with, I believe that the passing of time will render justice to them on this point: they’ll become classics like Kant’s Critique if Pure Reason or Hegel’s Logic.”
