This writing style isn’t grabbing me. I feel like it’s telling me what’s happening on a movie or TV screen without any further insight or inner thoughts. I can only read a little at a time; I’m sure I’ll finish it, but I’m finding that I still don’t know anything much about these characters. TL;DR: all surface, little depth.
