A phenomenal book that drew me to consider what Jesus is at the core. By observing various passages of Scripture and by noting some of the words of the Puritans, Dane Ortlund creates a wonderful, easy-to-read study on the heart of Christ. The purpose of seeing Christ’s heart is for us to run to him in our sin, suffering and pain. It is in Christ’s love that we find rest. I highly recommend this to you.
