Winifred is missing. She is the literary heir of a writer who was friends with her aunt (who was really her mother?). Kate is looking for her, but so are several others. The POV is complicated by the fact that the Winifred's journal contains similar ideas to what she ascribes to another character. I feel I need an outline to keep track.
