Just got the audiobook again. It’s comforting to return to a world I know so well, despite my mixed feelings on the series.
Reading about Aerea’s death when I feel sick was not fun though. But it does make me want to know more about Valyria, before and after the fall, and I’m sad we’ll probably never get that. Guess I’ll just have to imagine my own eldritch horrors.
