Can't wait for the review - I need a kick to get past "Melancholy" as I have 3 others (including Seiobo) but can't pick 'em up

Nice! I am a big fan of Krasznahorkai’s writing so I’m excited as well. If you haven’t read Satantango yet then I recommend that one. Very bleak, with the classic run on sentences, dark humor, and circular musings that I have come to associate with his writing. There is something special about Satantango though. I’ll let you know how this one goes.

Yeah, something about "Melancholy" rubbed me the wrong way, but honestly, it might have just been that I hated the woman villain so much that I couldn't stand to be in her presence which is actually, a check mark for the author rather than against. I've got "Satantango" sitting here as well as "Baron"
He is a totally unique writer and its silly that I haven't given him another go
