I'm sad that the BSC is so cliquey, and that Claudia never mentions her summer school friends ever again. You know, as much as I like the girls and their friendship, I would have loved to see some outside-the-Club action, and some non-BSC friends who were still good friends.

I just realized now that this is the book where Franklin and family have the wrong last name. (Harris vs DeWitt) Did they not give a last name earlier in the book? Because I feel like now it's "Harrises" this and "Harrises" that and I never noticed it earlier.
