rivka That her name sells more books than her actual writing abilities. The HP books are popular for many reasons, but stellar writing quality isn't one of them.

Tom Killalea The remaining treatment to run is a HP book with JK Rowling's name on the cover but ghostwritten by Thomas Pynchon #ConfirmationBias

Thomas Lawson If they had just kept the secret a bit longer, someone somewhere might have learned something.

Juniper i guess it says that even published writers are capable of experiencing the usual publishing path of rejection - thanks but this just isn't right for us. good luck. - by many who hope for acceptance of their work(s) from a publishing house. i think people seem to be forgetting how many rejections rowling received for potter before it was finally accepted. i actually feel badly that she couldn't write for longer under the pseudonym, before being discovered. i can't imagine the pressures - both internal and external - that come from being jk rowling. it probably felt nice for her to just be coasting under the radar as galbraith. and it's not like author pseudonyms are a new thing.
