It’s so nice to see you read this book! I’m curious to hear what you think of it when you finish it. If you think the first 50% is a bit slow I hope you’ll like the rest of it, after 75% it gets a tat bit boring imo, while I liked everything up to that a LOT. I love his style of writing, how he transports you to medieval times and the way he has thoroughly developed his characters (Philip, Aliena and Jack are my favorites, I can’t pick one!). I also love how I understand the villains in this book instead of them just being The Villains, especially William’s character, who’s actions often stem from his fears. Aah, there’s so much to say about this book, I truly miss reading it, I felt so at home in it!
