i keep comparing this to dune 1 cause of length but like. this is indeed a bit of a slog to get thru! but so was dune 1. i feel like maybe there was Something more to it that got me thru it idk. i also still have very Hard opinions on the books. I'm Also also trying to not let other reviews of "this is where the series rly gets worse" get in my head but i can see where people r coming from lmao. anyways. wyd frank h

oh also if this is the defining point of where the series gets questionable and/or other stuff then like. idk what the last two books were for some ppl. idk i'll be clear here and say that i cannot find myself being able to look away despite the fact that these are indeed like train wrecks of books and plot. i am this far in i did not read the wiki pages for nothing
