They did come out very well (from the sample we received so far). Half of the shipment should arrive in a few weeks, the other half three weeks after that. I can't wait to get these into the reader's hands!
Hi Michael, just finished the entire legends series for the third time and went through all of the Riyria books for good measure too. It is really enjoyable to relive some of the key moments again with the backstory knowledge ("You don’t believe in the gods, Nimbus?” He smiled wryly. “Oh, I most certainly believe in them, Your Eminence. I just don’t think they believe in me.” ;)However, the question that is still not totally clear to me is: What is a raow?

As to a raow...you'll learn more about them in some works I'm writing now. But as for what I've already told you about them. They are creatures who feed on others by starting with their faces. Generally speaking, they sleep on a bed of bones created from their victims and once they are aroused, they can't sleep again until they make another kill.
The real question is how does someone turn into a raow - and while there is speculation from various characters in my books about their origin, the true answer to this question will be forthcoming and I don't want to spoil that by telling you now.
