It's actually closer to 75% because of endnotes. A few days after starting this novel at the end of April, I mapped out how long it would take to read this, based on my daily number of pages read. The predicted end date? June 24. Three days ago. Oops. I'm still enjoying it, though I do feel its length, but I think that's kind of the point.
