Each morning I begin my day with a reading from "Backroad Melodies" along with my daily meditations. Each beautifully written poem & essay connects the read to a simpler & more relaxing time. My favorite is "In her Garden", in which Robert explains in GREAT detail the sights, & sounds of the garden, and the beauty that surrounds it. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who loves great Poetry.
