I found this book to be a great read! I even was able to learn a little more Hindi along the way! I really enjoyed the main character and sympathized with her! It is a glimpse into the ever so interesting Mehendi (henna) and India’s caste system. I could see myself back in India watching it all unravel before my eyes.
