Iset is not a woman to mince words, her and Hatch might have been friends in another life. This is a drama, it never goes where you initially expect it to. But it's an enjoyable ride. The women a strong and the men are protective. But everyone has their flaws, aka good writing.

Not the first time I've read this, not even the second, but I forget how much love I have for these characters. Particularly Senenmut. But it evokes the exact feelings it should.
