This is an interesting book, although the meandering literary style without a plot isn't really my fave. And Lydia is such a freaking pill that I'm kind of glad she's dead (okay, not really, she's just being a typical teenager and it's sad that she died but the way the author is presenting her so sympathetically and the very reasonable parents as horrible is grating).
