Notes:
(1) I was surprised how much I enjoyed the last volume. Hurwitz is quickly becoming one of my favorite Batman writers.
(2) I enjoy that this version of Batman's a bit of a throwback. It's the same New 52 design, but with a scalloped cape and long, Kelley Jones ears. Batman actually kinda looks bat-like, which is the original reason for the attire: to scare criminals.

Notes:
(1) I've only ever rated 24/574 books five-stars. That I'm even considering rating a Mad Hatter story five-stars is probably the best indicator of how impressed I am by it.
(2) I enjoy how the titles to each issue are integrated into the art, as seen above.
(3) The art may not be my preferred style, but it's some of the most dynamic, well-composed art I've ever seen.

Notes:
(1) Mad Hatter here's sort of a short-fuse psychopath, which is a far cry from the cosplay Lewis Carroll enthusiast he's always been. He's also got one wonky eye that bulges and veers off when he's stressed. Nice visual storytelling.
(2) Bruce Wayne's relationships are all the same. He can't let women into his life so they leave him. This seems like more of the same.
