Part of my problem with all of Abercombie's work I've read so far is he has at least ONE character that I could not give two rats' asses about if they were dipped in gold and sprinkled with diamonds. And then he makes said characters narrators. I've reached that spot in BSC and I don't CARE about the poisoner's thought process, but I have to read through him to get to other folks again. Frustrating.
