3.5 stars ~ A coming-of-age story about a stubborn third son with little sense.

One of the best things about you Jon is your consistent effort to use half stars in your description of books. Its not really a three star book but its not great either.
Thanks. I'm not an advocate of a half-star system (which really equates to ten stars), but I also want to be accurate about my feelings with respect to a story or novel.
