Since around page 250, I find this a very slow and painful read - not necessarily in a bad way. It is well-written (and the translation is good, too), it is just... it sometimes like observing every symptom of a slowly expanding headache in microscopic detail. Noone in this book seems to have any hope of ever being content. That does not exactly make it the best book for sleepy evenings after stressful days at work
