It was kind of weird. I mean, the thoughts and theories as Michael Chrichton explored genetic engineering were interesting, even though I didn't like them (I mean, the stem cell stuff and transgenic stuff is just gross to me -- using embryos and "breeding" humans and animals . . . I just don't think that kind of thing should be done and I am part of an "activist" group to do all I can to stop these things from happening for real). Michael has to get a little depraved at times, though, and so I have to say that though I like his writing style and he really had me engaged in the book from page one as he explored interesting themes, I can't say I really enjoyed the book.Does that make sense?
