though I’ve just started, Fields’ personality shines through his funny remarks and curiosity, yet bravery, regarding brainwaves — even using himself as a test subject. the book is dense and is difficult to get through without a highlighter in hand, but i’m excited to continue learning about the brain and how they can tell us the most intimate details about ourselves.
