I don’t love getting halfway into a book and being familiar with the characters and then the narrator says they were lying. I felt like I knew Amy and I liked the character, but now most of the time she was probably lying during her diary entries? Just kind of feels like a waste of time as a reader. Definitely keeps the book interesting, but I think there are better ways to do it than this one.
