A bit over halfway through my copy/version of
this book. Interesting story, but so far I have found it kinda sad. We'll see how it ends up turning out though. Possibly my favorite quote so far:
"How true is it that words are but vague shadows of the volumes we mean. Little audible links they are, chaining together great inaudible feelings and purposes." Sister Carrie, page 9
