Matthew How are you enjoying it so far? I'm considering a few options as far as collected works go. They are expensive to get here, so I want to buy the best one.

Phillip G. I am astonished at the grasp of Scripture that he has as he weaves thousands of verses together (without a concordance), and does so without any disjointed style. So far, his style reminds me a lot of William Gurnall, in his "The Christian in Complete Armour." Maybe Gurnall learned it from him, I don't know. It's rich in theology, very pastoral, and very practical so far. His mind must be a concordance. But yes, I am finding this more readable than a lot of Puritans I have read. I am not a Puritan expert, having only read about a dozen Puritan authors extensively, so take my comments with a grain of salt. Anyway, I am loving it.
