This book has brought me to the verge of sobbing on several occassions. Poor Dan. Poor Chris. The situation is just heartbreaking and well written enough for me to feel like mine is breaking for them at the same time.

Actually, Dan and Chris are just friends. They are not the romantic intresrts but they are facing the same tragic circumstances, just from a different relationship with this man in their lives.
