I liked watching Foster's storyline because I was dying to know why he liked sex that way.

He hires a prostitute to wait for him in his bedroom blindfolded with one arm handcuffed to his bed. He then handcuffs the other arms and has sex with her, with only the "important parts" touching. He gets up, uncuffs one arm and goes in the bathroom to clean up, and she leaves without ever seeing what he looks like. It was kind of hot in a dirty twisted sort of way, lol. It's also helping that I'm picturing him as Alexander Skarsgard.

What's really great is he's kind of an ambiguous character at this point - you don't really know what side he's on.

Yeah, me neither. He does some other unexpected things too, so he's been one of the most fun to read about.

You know what I also like? The two characters have sex with each other right away but they're not "in WUV." The girl even ditches the guy in a motel and leaves a crumpled 20 on the nightstand. Lol. I love a strong sexual female.

Lol, yes, I actually laughed at that part.

Her abilities force her to have one night stands and not form any attachment to anyone. It makes sense, it's not just a device used to make the girl seem slutty.

I also think I like the girl in this one a lot more after reading a bunch of books where the guy was a huge man-whore but the girl was a virgin. I'm getting sick of those.

I know just what you mean, man. I don't know if I like the supernatural excuse for promiscuity, but it's hard to tell how I'll like it until I read it.

Promiscuity? She's only slept with one person in the book. And I don't really see mention of multiple partners. She even mentions that it's been a while since she's been touched.

I said she has one night stands because she can't have anything else. I didn't mean to make it sound like she's doing that every night.

It is! Although it hasn't been completely explained yet, when she touches someone she steals their best ability but also leaves them drained. I'm not sure how detrimental to the person's health the draining is, but it seems like that's a reason she can't be around the same person for too long.

Kind of, but it only drains their best ability for a limited time. Once the times up she loses the ability and they get it back. Also, too much use of her gift really messes her up.

Yes! It really is such a novel idea - the girl isn't a virgin, she isn't a frigid bitch, and she's not a huge slut.

I thought it was so funny, she's like, kthnxbye! Lol. And he was like, FUCK! I also loved that he ended up sleeping late and she had the chance to slip off.

See, NU, (this is something you learn at the end of chapter 1), he's been hired to get info from her and kill her. So it's even funnier that she "escapes" him after the hot sex. She has no idea he has any sort of agenda.

What's even better is that she didn't moon about him after she left. She didn't spend hours staring out the window regretting she left him and wishing she could just do it all over again... *sob* Lol. She didn't even think about him again except in a vague way like that was some really hot sex.

No, you do learn more about him in this one! You just don't learn enough to suit me. The end came around and I still didn't understand exactly what was going on with him.

Ok, that's fine. I just have to decide if I can wait for the library to get Skin Tight in, or go out and buy it.

I suppose I should finish this one first though ...

Lol. You have to because you have to discover what Foster's master plan was. He also meets his heroine in this one.
