Finally finished. Though the book started slowly, it quickly picked up. Asher, Dathne and the rest of the main assemblage were very detailed, interesting characters; I saw Asher change and grow as a result of finally accepting Prophecy. Finally, Veira was a welcome addition to the series, fulfilling the roles of teaching mentor and mother all-in-one. Great novel.

I brought this book to read on my breaks, and got hooked in, dammit. I liked the first of the series, and so far the second hasn't disappointed.. More when I finish.
