So what happened in the book was that Mary Anne and the others from the Babysitting club helped babysit a birthday party. Once all of them were at the party it was award and they were kind of mean to each other. After the party Mary Anne wanted to have a meeting and they did. At there meeting they were forgiving each other for being mean. Then Mary Anne invited her new friend to be in the Babysitting club.

What has been happening in the book so far is that when Mary Anne and her friends had a meeting about the Baby-Sitters Club some of her friends and her had a fight. They fight was about all of them were free to baby sit by only on could do it. After all of that they were calling each other rude names. Then Mary Anne went home and she was sad. The Next day all of them were still mad at each other.
