Having a hard time continuing... Not really getting what the plot of this is supposed to be, not really liking any of the characters. Seems very juvenile for the author's 'first adult book'.

Was really looking forward to this and very disappointed. I will put it down for a while and give it another shot, but I'm not hopeful.
