Legit at the very beginning of this but omg rereading this, this beginning reminds me of An Interview with a Vampire

I feel like I'm not connecting much to younger Tea, though older Tea is quite interesting, but I do find myself falling in love with the world building. I am liking a lot of the background characters, a.k.a. Zoya who seems the most interesting, though annoying.

I am loving this book so far. The combination of magic and geishas is absolutely intriguing. I also love how diverse the characters and the world is! I could not put this down last night!
