After families have been taken away from each other they still receive the smallest amounts of food. Elie and his dad are seeing these things thorough their own eyes and im pretty sure its terrifying I believe this show Imagery because in the book Elie describes everything by every little detail.

Elie and his family has been forced out of the area where they live along with the other Jews. The people getting kicked out were transported and moved into ghettos and also keep geting transported to other areas which soon to come there will be a last transportation for the people.
