I'm on the last page right now in Kite Runner. Sourabh committed suicide. However, he didn't die. However, he couldn't speak anymore. In 2002, they met in Afghans park and saw the kite seller. Amir bought the kite and showed it to Sohrab. This story was sad and made me think a lot. In some chapter, I didn't understand some of part, but I felt empathy in all the characters.

I'm on chapter 22 right now. I found out that they are waiting for Taliban officials. Amir realized that the official was Assef. Assef was the person who beat him up and soon as he came upon to him and started to harass him, he passed out. He will be so scared because if he already knows that he will get beat up and eventually get injured.

Amir and Ramin and Hassan went over to Kabul that they lived in the past, they didn't do anything for it, but soon as they came back, it was a disaster, looks like the war swiped the town and nothing was there. I can not relate to this kind of story easily because I haven't experienced this kind of situation, but if hometown got destroyed by war and lose memory, it will be harsh.

The time period goes to 2001, he met Ramin Khan and went to Afghanistan that he lived in the past. It was a really bad condition and the environment was terrible. Kids were selling cigarettes and dirty. It would be really pathetic to look at his hometown being damaged.

Baba's sickness was going much more severe, and their marriage was earlier than before due to sickness. Amir spent a lot of money. However, after marriage, Baba died. He didn't even meet aba's parents properly. It is really pathetic because Amir can not meet Baba anymore, and the fact that she died after the marriage is sad to me.

The background of the story changed to United States. Amir said that he wants to study writing. However, Baba disagrees with that he doesn't need to because it's just a time waste. I think Amir should study writing because he can get higher education in United States and find his interest.

Their friendship begins to crack. Amir doesn't want Hassan to be in their place. So when they went out, he put his birthday money under Hassan's mattress and try to pretend Hassan stole money from Baba. When Hassan return, he admitted that he stole the money. Baba said it was okay, but Ali was almost saying 'kick him out'. I don't think that this thing should happen because lying to kick someone out is really bad.

The kite competition is the most popular thing in his town. Baba, Amir, and Hassan bought their kites and tried to fly it high as they can. To win the competition, they have to cut another person's kite string and make it fall to win the competition. However, Hassan was the top kite flyer in Kabul. Baba was proud of himself about winning and showed his top position in kite competition.

I'm on page 41 right now and Ali's parents got killed by a drunk driver. However, looks like that they don't even think that they caused a problem. Due to that, other friends are calling names on Ali and made him annoyed. I think this kind of thing should not happen because it is pathetic to lose both parents from a car accidents by a drunken drivers.

In the chapter 3, the character call Baba shows up. He has a humongous body size and has unbelievable power. Some of people think he is stupid and he is not going to be successful later. However, he became successful business man and marries to Amir's mother. I think this chapter shows about that person who looks like unproductive has strong potential and can reveal their hidden power.

On the second chapter, the narrator talks about what they did in the past. They climbed up the tree and didn't care even they got in trouble. The story looks like tries to talk about the two boys past in the time period in 1975 during Afghanistan.
