The dinner scene was hilarious. I'm really enjoying them trying to outdo each other.

He just compared her hair to his old dog's in a compliment. He's so cute and awkward!

Juliet and Swale are so alike. Both are hotheads and both are so nonchalant about their interest in each other.

I keep getting startled by the way the characters throw around the term "make love". Each time I see it I think sex, but they just mean woo or court. Her brother started talking to her about Swale coming to make love to her. There was a lot of blinking until I remembered what he meant.

Benedict became "guarded" when he learned about the attack. Hmmm... Seems like there's more to this than meets the eye.

Me too. I was a bit slow in getting absorbed in the book, but as soon as there was more contact between Juliet and Ginger :) I was sucked in. My husband looked at me like I was crazy because I kept giggling. When she lit his food on fire I about died.
