So this book wasn't as good as the rest. It kind of fumbled along and just was.. there. I also did not like Nova in this book. Her attitude was terrible and she just wasn't the funny girl she had been in the rest.

I think it's weird that Wilder died. It wasn't really explained why he just keeled over when the portal was unstable and closing.

Learning about summoning familiars and having your own unique one is pretty cool! On another note, the plot in this one is by far the worst. I know it does sort of flow from the other ones with the cult and all, but ugh, this is the worst book in the series, so far.
