The main protagonist Magnus Chase was trying to learn more about his father Frey (who’s a god) in the Norse gods book his mom used to read him when he was little but he didn’t find anything on his father Frey. Magnus sense someone edited his hotel Valhalla video was turned into an outcast. My opinion on what happened to Magnus is that I don’t think he deserved it and he just wants to be normal for once.

Magnus Chases Valkyrie Sam was kicked from being a Valkyrie because Magnus Chases video was edited to make him look bad. Magnus Chase died and went to Valhalla. This is important because this changed his whole life.

Magnus was brought on a tour of Valhalla by the valkyrie Sam (a valkyrie is a person who watches a fight to see if the hero is worth being taken to Valhalla). He was brought to Valhalla because he fought bravely in a fight against the demon Sert, Valhalla is a hotel for hero’s who died in battle. You really have to use a suspension of disbelief because this book is about a Demi god that died but made it to Valhalla.

Magnus’ uncle told him that creatures are trying to kill him but Magnus’ mom told him to never trust his uncle before she died. Magnus needs to ether trust his uncle or not and it is a very tense situation. It is probably based in the beginning of 2017.
