I would give advice to the little girl that they rescued when you they were escaping. Her family and parents left her behind because they thought she was sick with the virus people were spreading. I would tell her to not worry about her parents and keep going no matter what.

Since the world is turning into chaos there really isn’t laws or rules. From what I know a lot of people don’t care if they leave their kids behind if they get sick. Usually you wouldn’t leave your kids even if they had the virus. In this book the virus messes with people minds and they don’t act normally. For example the main characters pickup a little girl that was left behind and take her along with them.
