I don’t want to be nasty because my first writing was garbage too, but “At Fault” is a painful piece of romantic tripe. All the worst elements of an old-fashioned romance novel right up to “the mean spouse dies so the couple can be together” trope. I had to skip a lot of it. I hope, since this is an anthology, that things will improve in the next story. (PS don’t get me started on the race thing)
