Just started reading this novel for my book club and three chapters into the story. Being introduced to the characters has me reflecting on what I was reading at 10 years old. The vast amount of books out there that I'll never get to experience is sometimes overwhelming to think about. And wishing that more books were read for recreation rather than academic obligation.
