this book is about a girl named slamanca, telling a story about herself and a girl named pheobe. she is currently with her two crazy grandparents as she tells her story. she just went to iIllinois with her grand parents and already feels homesick. i wonder what trouble she is going to run into with her grandparents. i wonder this because they are always getting themselves in trouble, almost anywhere the can.
