Wow the history of women's judo is just as intriguing as it is brutal, and the way that the writer Mark Law keeps my attention through his use of figurative imagery for both judo and the damage caused by its art form is wondrous. I actually have to raise the rating from a 3 star already because of how well it retains my attention for so long - and that isn't easy by any standard. So far a good read, we'll see.
