And that's as far as I'm going. I hesitated to buy it when I saw the author was male, and that instinct was right, although it did have great reviews. But I found it dry and uninvolving. And it finally occurred to me that I didn't need to finsh it if I wasn't enjoying it. Moving on to something else.
