So far Connor sees Lev arrive at "the graveyard" and punches him in the face for trying to turn them in. Even though Lev tried to do this, I think that Connor cares for him. I think that when thinking of Lev, Connor thinks of the baby that died being passed around their neighborhood because nobody wanted him/her. It seems that he doesn't want another person to be unwound, especially one he tried to save.

While nearing the end of the book, I find it quite interesting how Connor, Risa, and Lev come from completely different backgrounds but see each other as family. They care about one another even though they couldn't be more different. I mean, if they didn't, Lev would have not have tried to help blow up the Chop Shop. It really shows that people can change and care about one another, which is pretty inspiring to me.

In this part, Risa, Lev, and Connor are on the run and are nearing civilization as they pass the nineteen year old girl trying to stork her baby. I think that even though Connor does not know Risa very well, they share a trust and are comfortable with one another. I think this because even though they have just met, they are both running away from the scary fate of being unwound and rely on each other to survive.
