I had to put this down - such a powerful and emotionally raw set of essays about his very difficult relationship with his mother. His memories of growing up on the “Rez” with the powerful and horrible social and family dysfunction are like a kick in the gut. This is his therapy, laid out eloquently for us to share. He survived because he escaped, but still processing the damage.
