Has proven to be a difficult read and not sure why... small print, busy schedule, requires careful reading, doesn't follow a linear progression, difficult subject, all of the above. However difficult, it is a well written 'story' on an important and significant historical global period, sometimes forgotten location, and strong, passionate figures. Pressing on. #CulturalLit

The end-of-school year makes for a tired working mama who can't seem to stay awake to get good reading time. Still reading along a page a day, often times reading the same page for several days in a row... still, one great book! Adelante! #CulturalLit
