I had to stop to record this beautiful quote somewhere: "The world as you see it was not made brick by brick, every piece falling where it must. What you see the is the overlap, what is left when all the mistakes have been made - castles built from rubble, broken things passing for whole."

I just wanted to take a minute to comment on the family relationships in this story. Whether its related to each other family members or people who end up being family through circumstances. It's done so well... with depth. You have these realistic relationships between people of all ages and all different life circumstances. It's beautiful. I am especially fond of Kefier and anyone he likes at this point.

I'm finished the first book in this trilogy, Jaeth's Eye and it was great. It took a while to understand how all the threads of it were connected and start to understand what was really happening, but once I did I had grown to care about the characters and I was really invested in their fates and when it all came together it was awesome!

Ok, now things are starting to come together and wow, what a reveal. I never thought my opinion of a character could change so drastically. Wow.
