So the book is now switched to the other main character, Werner Pfennig and he currently living in a orphanage with his sister. Frau Elena is a nun who runs it and is very nice to the children. Then it goes back to Marie-Laure and her father is trying to help her memorize area where she lives. So far I find this book very intriguing.

Marie-Laure is a blind girl that lives in France. Werner lives in a orphanage. Germany is bombing France and Marie-Laure father is gone. There is a flashback taking about a jewel that is blue and has a red dot in the middle. So far it’s a little slow getting into the story.
